WHO I AM
I am a writer from Houston, Texas.
I moved to Atlanta in 2022 to pursue a BFA in writing at SCAD Atlanta.
I studied various forms of writing including fiction, nonfiction, screenwriting, serial narrative, and writing for the arts.
Throughout my time at school I learned what drives me and why I enjoy writing.
I want my audience to identify me by the vulnerability in my writing.
My goal is connection and a peek behind the curtain.
I believe the right words on a page can connect anyone.
WHAT I DO
I write in a range of disciplines.
Screenplays exploring my curiosities about the progression of life, personal essays about my relationship with myself and the people I've encountered throughout my life. My creative non-fiction focuses on intense experiences I've had. My fiction is intimate and often coming-of-age stories. I've written and performed live comedy. I completed an internship at Onward Theatre, where I assisted in teaching writing classes. I most enjoy writing personal poetry, memoir, and creative non-fiction. My writing is candid and vulnerable. I write with an unwavering voice, in any discipline.
